We are very excited to be putting out the first single from Popsneon's forthcoming album 'Some Town. It's a fantastic and unique blend of chillwave, shoegaze, acid house, Balearic and leftfield pop. Simon White is the man behind it and he was one part of Nottingham's Neon Heights, purveyors of the finest 00s Balearica.

This Town Forever features Torn Sail's Huw Costin, who adds his yearning voice to a tale of claustrophobic urban living. A simple arpeggiated synth gives it a retro-future sound over stripped back tech beats where the Midlands and Detroit meet on an empty road at dusk.

The Torn Sail mix is full of found sounds, background distortion and reverbed effects as it brings out the melancholy. Trippy, soulful and atmospheric.

One of Simon's old Neon Heights running partners, Cal Gibson launches his new Secret Soul Society with its first official remix. Things are taken down a notch with pads, a broken beat, tripped synths and the cut up vocal. One for the Balearic heads.
